SOOP Platform

Overview

SOOP is a joint initiative of GEOMAR, AWI and Hereon. The vision of SOOP is to build a mature marketplace for ocean observing technology deployed globally by a variety of marine operators delivering the data needed for a sustainable ocean. SOOP will harness the curiosity and creativity of society to sample the ocean at unprecedented scales while creating sustainable structures for transfer and innovation in ocean observing technology towards user friendly instrumentation.
