Within the SOOP data framework the O2A registry offers to store essential metadata about SOOP obsveration technologies, such as sensor information (e.g. unique sensor ID = UUID, type, parameter, accuracy, manufacturer, calibration details etc.), or information about observation vessels (e.g. vessel name, owner, campaign etc.).
